Innovate UK Smart Grant
Our success with the highly competitive Innovate UK Smart Grant demonstrates the power of our approach:
In a single funding round, Grantify clients secured an impressive 72% of all available funding. Out of 71 successful applications, 51 were supported by Grantify.
We've repeatedly achieved a >55% success rate for Smart Grant applications:
53 winners out of 97 submissions (55% success rate)
46 winners (on first or second submission) out of 82 clients (56% success rate)
SBIR Success
We're not just excelling in the UK—our success extends to the US Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programme:
Project Pitch Stage: We've achieved up to a 75% success rate on first attempts. In September 2023, 15 out of 20 of our clients' pitches were successful on first attempt (and you get a free resubmission with us).
For those needing a second attempt, we've seen up to a 50% success rate over the past six months, with 6 out of 13 getting through on their second try.
Phase 1 Applications: In 2023, we secured funding for 2 out of 3 Phase 1 applications.
Founder Story: Walking the Talk
Our founders don't just talk the talk—they get the grants.
Mat and Luke have personally secured funding from Innovate UK three times, including the coveted Smart Grant, COVID-19 extension, and Biomedical Catalyst programmes. In total, they've won seven grants, including funding from NIHR, CPI, ERDF, and KEEP+.
What's more, all but their first Smart Grant were secured using Grantify's own platform—a testament to the effectiveness of our approach.
